She has also worked at the Military Hospital at Al-kharj, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She earned her MBBS degree from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha, India, and a Diploma in Gynecology from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh, India. She holds a Master in Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Waterloo, Canada. After retirement, she settled in Calgary, AB, Canada.

The website also include articles contributed by Dr. Surajit Bhattacharya. Dr. Bhattacharya holds an MBBS, an M.S. in general surgery, and an M.Ch in plastic surgery from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow, India. He furthered his expertise with advanced training in Microsurgery from Bernard O’Brien Institute of Microsurgery, Melbourne, Australia, and Cranial Surgery from the Australian Cranio-Facial Unit, Adelaide, Australia. His rich experience includes teaching in the Division of Surgical Oncology at his Alma-mater, and he currently serves as the Senior Consultant in Plastic Surgery at Sahara Hospital and Ajanta Hospital in Lucknow.

Dr. Bhattacharya is the Editor of The Indian Journal of Plastic Surgery, and he also edits the most popular e-Newsletter of Plastic Surgery coming out of India, which is read by over 7000 Plastic Surgeons in 97 countries. Recipient of the Peet Prize, the APSI Best Paper Award, and the S.R. Joglekar Gold Medal for Best Published Work in the Indian Journal of Surgery, he has 86 scientific publications and 2 book chapters to his credit, and over 200 podium presentations while lecturing widely all around the world at various Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Conferences.
